Expedition Culebra

Sea fans sway mesmerizingly with the current.

Tamarindo & Melones beaches

We snorkeled the left side of the reef at Tamarindo beach and finished up the day with a late afternoon snorkel of the right side of Melones beach.

Rocky features and big shoals of tangs make practicing freediving here fun.

Soldado beach

We snorkeled to the left of the beach all the way to the rocky point.

Big coral reef structures with lots of caves and an occasional pufferfish or shark.

Tamarindo Grande beach Day 1

The jungle hike to this beach is well worth it. We only saw a few other people on the beach. The reef to the left of the beach was amazing!

Dirt road, jungle path, nature walk and an amazing cool off snorkeling the reef!

Tamarindo Grande beach Day 2

We tried to snorkel at Carlos Rosario beach but after several hundred feet the visibility remained very low so we came back to the beach and then hiked back to Tamarindo Grande for a second day.

Get started properly.

In a safe environment until you are ready, with patience.

We will take the time to help you get started properly so your first experiences can be fun. We will ensure you are comfortable breathing with your snorkel and you are not having issues with water getting in your mask or snorkel while in water that is only waist deep. Only after you are feeling confident in the water and with your gear will we begin exploring the reef.

We will hold your hand through it.

Literally.

Sometimes it helps to have someone with experience hold your hand for a while or the whole time. We’ll check in regularly to make sure you’re ok and always happily lend a hand.

Snorkel at a leisurely pace.

Choose to snorkel more or less.

We regularly communicate to ensure we are moving at an acceptable pace. Each member of our group can regulate their own amount of snorkeling time each day by snorkeling more or less. We don’t want anyone ever feeling pressured to snorkel as much as another person.

Feeling confident?

Whether it’s more time in the water, going further, or going deeper, we are up for the challenge and will be there to support you in taking your adventure to the max.
